• Aladdin Pantomine

  Just before the christmas holidays the children were able to watch and enjoy a pantomine production called Aladdin. It was a fantastic pantomine enjoyed by all the children and staff!

  

• Children in Need - Friday 14th November 2014

  Dear Parents/Carers,
  We will be holding a special fundraising day on Friday 14th November to raise money for the `Children in Need' appeal. We have decided to make the day special by asking everyone to come to school with `Crazy Hair' or a `Wig' and dress in non-uniform and bring a £1 or £2 donation to give to the appeal.

• All Hallows Church visit 2014

  The children in year 2 visited All Hallows Church. They had a fantastic time exploring the different parts of the church, its history and had fun ringing bells, making prayer beads and stained glass windows.

  

• Year 2 trip to Magna

  Year 2 visited the Magna Science and Adventure centre on the 19th June. They had a fantastic time exploring the different pavillions including water, air, fire and earth. We even had time to go on the adventure park before coming home. All the children behaved brilliantly and represented Phoenix really well.

  

• Arrival of Phoenix Chicks!

  We are very excited to annouce the arrival of our Phoenix chicks. Our Phoenix Chicks have arrived and are being kept nice and warm in their incubator. If you would like to watch our chicks as they hatch and grow please keep checking back to our daily chick diary, which will have daily updates on the progress of the chicks!

• Pantomine

  Just before the Christmas holidays the children had the opportunity to watch and enjoy a pantomine production. The pantomine was Cinderella. It was a brilliant performance and was enjoyed by all the children and staff at Phoenix.

  

• Year 1 Trip to Brewhouse yard

  Year 1 visited Brewhouse Yard on the 2nd and 6th December to look around a victorian home and visit Mrs Christmas. It was a wonderful magical visit whichended with lots of excitable children. The children deorated festive biscuits and helped sort out santa and his Christmas laundry. Fun was had by all and many children went home and shared the fun they had with their family.

  

• Year 2 enjoy a theatre session

  Partake Theatre Group have visited the school this week to work with the children in year 2, who have been learning all about the 'Great Fire of London.' The Children retold the story by dressing up and acting out all the events that happened during the fire. The throughly enjoyed it and were extremely enthusiastic throughout.

  

• Children in Need
