Summer Term

Hello and welcome back! We hope you all had a lovely holiday and enjoyed the sunshine (and snow showers!!!). We have got a very busy and exciting term ahead.  Have a look at the documents below to see what we have got planned!

We've had a very busy week in Class 5 this week.  The children have really impressed me by their attitude and have been working so hard!  Well done to our certificate winners this week.  Emily won the trophy for being very kind and helpful others.  Lyla was given special effort for her fantastic attitude towards her learning at school and at home.  Kian won the manners certificate for always being polite and friendly and setting a good example to the other children.  We also have another king this week!

Well done to Joseph for working so hard to finish his sticker chart!

Have a look below to see who our certificate winners are this week.  Two weeks in a row for Evie as this week she has blown us away with her super manners! Leia was given special effort for her brilliant work in English, writing a fantastic piece of writing by herself using correct punctuation, neat handwriting and adjectives.  Logan won the trophy this week for his amazing attitude towards his learning recently, putting in 100% effort and listening carefully in class.  We also have two queens for next week! Well done to Tilly and Freya for finishing their sticker charts!

Well done to our certificate winners this week, we are very proud of you!  Maizee was awarded the manners certificate for being very polite.  Evie won the special effort this week for her fantastic achievements in school and at home with her spellings! Nevaeh won the trophy for her amazing effort and attitude towards her learning and behaviour.  Well done superstars!

We started our new topic off in a very exciting way this morning as Partake Theatre company came in to tell us the story of the Great Fire of London. We had so much fun finding out all about what happened and acting out the events. Have a look at us in action!

This afternoon we had our fabulous finish for our round the world topic. We made our own passports and tickets and then jetted off to lots of different countries to have a go at joining in with their traditional dances. It was lots of fun!
