Subject Leader - Mrs Henson

A fabulous morning in year 2 with the Partake 🎭 theatre company learning about the great fire 🔥 of London. We were transported back in time to 1666 to learn about what caused the fire, who Samuel Pepys was and why the fire spread so quickly to last four days and four nights.

Class 6 were using Purple Mash to create their own news report about Amelia Earhart

This Spring term our topic is Up, up and away we have been learning about significant people from the past who went on a special journey. Today we learnt about The Wright Brothers

Class 5 listened to the story of Stubby the war dog by Michael Foreman and found out about the role he played during World War One. We learned about why Remembrance Day is important and the things that people do to remember the many soldiers who have sadly lost their lives.
