Parking
Parking safely is vital at our school. We are in a built up area on the brow of a hill. Here are some reminders to help keep our community safe. Please also park courteously- we have extremely supportive neighbours and value this. Please always check you are not parked over a driveway.
Areas where you must not park
Here are some areas that you must not park in:
- On school entrance markings ( zig zags and single yellow lines)
- Anywhere that would prevent access for Emergency Services ( eg double parking and not leaving space for vehicles to get up or down the hill to school)
- At or near a bus/tram stop
- Opposite or within 10 metres of a junction
- Highway Code Rule 243 clearly says; “DO NOT stop or park ‘in front of an
entrance to a property’”
