Curriculum

Using our philosophy ‘Where Learning is Loved’ as our key driver, we have developed a varied and inspiring curriculum that:
- Fosters a Love of Learning: We aim to create an environment where children are excited to learn and explore, encouraging curiosity and creativity.
- Promotes Language Development: Our curriculum prioritises language acquisition and communication skills, ensuring that all children can express themselves confidently and effectively.
- Provide Enriching Opportunities: We aim to offer a wide range of experiences that enhance learning, including outdoor education, arts, and community engagement.
- Instil our Core Values: Our core values such as kindness, respect, determination, compassion, honesty and responsibility are intertwined in our curriculum.
- Strive for Excellence: We are committed to ensuring that every child achieves their full potential by building on their previous knowledge and setting ambitious goals.
- Celebrates our Diversity: We strive to ensure all children feel that they belong, celebrating our differences and unique qualities.
Our curriculum takes into account every aspect of the National Curriculum, the Early Year Statutory Framework and the locally agreed RE syllabus. In addition to this we also have Diversity lessons each term following the ‘Anti-Racist Education Programme’. Throughout our curriculum we feed through British Values and protected characteristics.
