Pirate afternoon in class 6 - This afternoon we decorated our yummy sea biscuits. We were then set a challenge to hunt for pirate words and pictures and find a match using a code. The reward was chocolate coins. We have had a fabulous day.
To finish our fantastic topic Pirates. It is pirate day in year 2. We went in to the hall to do a pirate jig. We have made our own pirate hats and flags. We then had to follow instructions outside from our captain , but then we were made to walk the plank. Take a look at us in action this morning.
In F2 we have been learning all about things we celebrate and family traditions. Here are a few photos parents have sent us of their traditions
Class 6 have been learning all about Remembrance day this week and why this day is so important. Mr Dunn came in to tell us all about his days as a paratrooper when he was younger. We found out lots of interesting information and looked at some photos. Thank you Mr Dunn we had a very interesting morning.

Class 4 have been learning about toys and comparing toys today with those in the past. Take a look at when Partake came into school to work with us.
Take a look at the display in Class 6 of our great work all about Pirates. We have really enjoyed this topic and now know lots of fun and interesting facts.
Today Year 2 had a special visit from the Partake company. We turned into Pirates for the morning and had a great time thinking about what it would have been like long ago out at sea. Take a look at us in action below.
